I will remember this birthday of Lydia's grandma at a Taiwan resto. Lydia that night wants to play with the china plates and her mommy had to force the plates out of her hands... and Lydia reacted quickly (a behavior at her age right now) by throwing her spoon where she was also surprised perhaps and when she saw others looking at her, she started crying very loud. Great! Now everyone's really looking at us. Good thing, she finally accepted for mommy to hug her but kept crying until she felt asleep. I said what a way to celebrate her grandma's birthday halfday during our dinner by crying and then felling asleep.Funny thing was later after our dinner, she was awaken by her brother who was starting to sing the birthday song when we took out the birthday cake. Grandma then took Lydia to her lap for the birthday cake cutting. Her brother's birthday song saved the day and Lydia is happy!
